CHILDLINE ‘1098’ is a national 24 hour Emergency Telephone Helpline & Outreach Service for Children in Need of Care & Protection and is started in 2002. It is a Project supported by Ministry of Women and Child Development. CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF) is the National Nodal organisation for CHILDLINE services across the Nation. CHILDLINE awareness prgramme is conducted through Open House Programme, Out Reach Programme, School Programme, Programme to Self Help Group, Auto Drivers, Police Personnel, Religious Places and various places.
